Job summary

7 Leaves Cafe in Diamond Jamboree, CA is seeking a Shift Lead to support the manager in daily cafe operations. You will delegate tasks, maintain a safe, clean environment, and ensure smooth operations when the manager is not present.

This part-time role offers 25–30 hours per week with flexible weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and onsite work. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong customer service in a fast-paced retail cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology and computer systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work independently.
• Ability to manage bakery operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations are maintained to a high standard with or without a manager.
• Remain calm in stressful situations to support the team.
• Communicate clearly with team members and manager for smooth transitions.
• Create a positive team environment and support staff.
• Assist with problem solving and improve team efficiency.
• Execute opening/closing duties and general bakery operations on schedule.
• Ensure orders and inventory are received and organized.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation procedures.
