Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. seeks a part-time Shift Lead at the 7617 Central KY store to deliver prompt, courteous service and oversee daily operations.

You will assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, operate the register, and help ensure shelves are stocked and the store runs smoothly. This role offers advancement opportunities to Assistant Manager in as little as six months, plus a benefits package including healthcare, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to bend, stand, and reach; may lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customers' requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensuring fuel and merchandise are available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed store performance goals.
• Performing job duties as assigned.
• Providing backup duties in absence of management including paperwork, inventory, and training new employees.
