Murphy USA Inc. in Arkansas is hiring a part-time Shift Lead to provide fast, friendly service, assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, and help supervise daily store operations.

The role pays $13.50–$16.25 per hour with daily pay options and benefits including healthcare, 401(k) with company matches, paid time off, GED/education assistance, and opportunities to advance to Assistant Manager in as little as six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 6 months related experience.
• At least 3 months cashier experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register and cashier duties.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to exceed store performance goals.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management, provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, problem resolution, video review, plan‑o‑gram compliance, inventory and training new employees.
