Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is hiring for a part-time Shift Lead to provide friendly, efficient customer service and support store operations.

You will assist customers, operate the register, and help drive daily performance across fuel and merchandise. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 6 months related experience), 3+ months cashier experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to bend, stand, and reach repeatedly; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register and ensure fuel/merchandise availability.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support Store Manager in all store operations.
• Lead the team to exceed store performance goals.
