Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Maintenance Technician to lead and mentor a team responsible for the maintenance and repair of all electromechanical equipment in a high-paced facility. You will work on the floor with technicians, providing hands-on expertise, guidance, and direction to keep equipment safe, reliable, and in line with production demands.

The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor with job assignments, daily coordination, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production/plant maintenance setting.
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficient in troubleshooting AC/DC systems, motion control, and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of electromechanical maintenance technicians.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members to meet production standards.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to teammates and supervisors.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Audit inspections and address potential issues proactively.
• Oversee repairs and replacement of electromechanical components.
• Diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Ensure emergency repairs minimize production disruption.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA-compliant practices.
