Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc. is hiring for a part-time Shift Lead at a Murphy USA convenience store. You will lead team members, ensure customer service excellence and support store operations.

The role requires cashier experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This position offers part-time hours with benefits including healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in Indiana, 20+ in Kentucky, 21+ in several states).
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customers' requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, reviewing video, inventory ordering, and training new employees.
