Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social science, administration, or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience in a correctional or law enforcement environment.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation.
• This position is safety sensitive and subject to alcohol and controlled substance testing.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Sergeants and Deputies during assigned shifts.
• Oversee daily correctional operations and inmate supervision.
• Conduct facility inspections, review reports, and ensure compliance.
• Lead emergency response efforts and critical incident management.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
• Manage staffing schedules, assignments, and operational readiness.
• Ensure adherence to policies, accreditation standards, and legal requirements.
• Maintain safety, security, and order within the facility.
