Job summary

Bluestone Lane is seeking a Team Captain to manage daily front-line operations in our New York coffee shop. You will work behind the bar, supervise staff, and ensure fast, friendly service while upholding store standards and cleanliness.

Lead by example, train teammates, and support scheduling and inventory control in partnership with the GM. This role emphasizes guest experience, efficiency, and maintaining quality beverages and food handling.

Qualifications

• Hospitality industry experience with 3+ years.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience using a POS system.
• DOH Food Protection Certificate and Bluestone Lane Barista Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and cleanliness; guide team to meet standards.
• Assist GM/Area GM with scheduling to ensure coverage.
• Drive sales and upsell; maintain high customer service levels.
