Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Leader to work with the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager to produce high-quality cakes, foster a warm guest experience, and support daily operations in line with NbC standards.

The role emphasizes team leadership, coaching, and collaboration to drive sales while upholding NbC culture and values across the bakery team and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role.
• Demonstrated success coaching others, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members to deliver a superior guest experience.
• Collaborate with bakery management to drive sales and profitability.
• Execute day-to-day bakery operations in alignment with NbC standards.
• Model NbC culture and values for staff and guests.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards. And as part of this successful and growing brand, there is no shortage of opportunities for promotion. Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
