The Shift Lead serves as the operational lead on the warehouse floor and acts as the Supervisor's primary support partner. Similar to an Amazon Process Assistant (PA), this role functions as the Supervisor's "right-hand person," helping coordinate daily operations, lead employees, and ensure productivity, safety, quality, and customer service objectives are achieved.
This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on executing operational plans, training employees, managing workflow, and supporting warehouse systems and processes. The Shift Lead does not have hiring, termination, or disciplinary authority but provides day‑to‑day leadership and direction to the hourly workforce. In the Supervisor's absence, the Shift Lead may oversee daily operations to ensure continuity and service levels are maintained.
