Job summary

Wings Over is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise crew members, open or close the shop, and assist with cash handling. The role requires Serv-Safe certification, strong leadership, and the ability to coach staff while upholding Wings Over standards.

The position supports a fast-paced foodservice environment with opportunities for advancement and growth within the company. A reliable, energetic team player who can work nights, weekends, and holidays is ideal.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in food/hospitality environments.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities are essential.
• Serv-Safe certification is required.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and FOH/BOH operations preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store crew members and model Wings Over standards.
• Open or close the store and assist with cash drawers.
• Train others on core products and procedures; coach team.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety guidelines across all stations.
• Check cash drawers and assist with deposits as needed.
• Contribute to store goals and participate in broader Wings Over initiatives.

The Opportunity:

Wings Over is looking for a Shift Lead to join our team. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for supervising store Crew Members, opening or closing the store, and assisting with cash drawers.

Day in the Life (includes, but is not limited to):

• Works side by side with the team frying chicken, greeting guests, and modeling Wings Over standards, values, and behaviors


• Supervises with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of Wings Over


• Demonstrates knowledge of and trains others on core products, processes, and FOH/BOH workstations; positively coaches Crew Members on such items


• Identifies and communicates appropriate responsibilities and duties to store Crew Members to ensure smooth flow of operations


• Anticipates obstacles and takes action to prevent or minimize their impact


• Keeps all workstations clean and organized and coaches team to do the same; follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products


• Assist with checking cash drawers and preparing bank deposits


• Contributes as needed to wider Wings Over efforts to achieve store goals and sales growth


• Maintains regular and punctual attendance


• Maintains a neat and tidy appearance by wearing the Wings Over uniform and adhering to our Wings Over dress code


• Other related duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Table:

• At least one (1) year of store-level supervisor experience in food/hospitality preferred


• Serv-Safe Certification required


• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures


• Able to communicate clearly and concisely


• Able to appropriately handle confidential/sensitive information


• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to coach others


• Flexible schedule - available nights, holidays, and weekends with availability to open or close shifts


• Able to lift 50 lbs. and can stand for prolonged periods of time


• Legal US work authorization
