Job summary

Wings Over is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise Crew Members, open/close the store, and assist with cash drawers. You will model Wings Over standards and foster a positive, collaborative environment.

The role requires at least one year of supervisory experience in food/hospitality and a Serv-Safe certification. A strong leadership mindset and reliable attendance are essential for success in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of store-level supervisor experience in food/hospitality.
• Serv-Safe Certification required.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Flexible schedule - available nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
• Legal US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Supervises store Crew Members and assists with opening/closing.
• Trains others on core products and FOH/BOH workflows.
• Coaches Crew Members and ensures adherence to Wings Over standards.
• Ensures smooth operations by delegating tasks and anticipating obstacles.
• Maintains clean, organized workstations and follows health and safety guidelines.
• Assists with cash drawers and bank deposits as needed.
• Contributes to store goals and sales growth.
• Maintains regular attendance and Wings Over dress code.

The Opportunity:

Wings Over is looking for a Shift Lead to join our team. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for supervising store Crew Members, opening or closing the store, and assisting with cash drawers.

Day in the Life (includes, but is not limited to):

• Works side by side with the team frying chicken, greeting guests, and modeling Wings Over standards, values, and behaviors


• Supervises with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of Wings Over


• Demonstrates knowledge of and trains others on core products, processes, and FOH/BOH workstations; positively coaches Crew Members on such items


• Identifies and communicates appropriate responsibilities and duties to store Crew Members to ensure smooth flow of operations


• Anticipates obstacles and takes action to prevent or minimize their impact


• Keeps all workstations clean and organized and coaches team to do the same; follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products


• Assist with checking cash drawers and preparing bank deposits


• Contributes as needed to wider Wings Over efforts to achieve store goals and sales growth


• Maintains regular and punctual attendance


• Maintains a neat and tidy appearance by wearing the Wings Over uniform and adhering to our Wings Over dress code


• Other related duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Table:

• At least one (1) year of store-level supervisor experience in food/hospitality preferred


• Serv-Safe Certification required


• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures


• Able to communicate clearly and concisely


• Able to appropriately handle confidential/sensitive information


• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to coach others


• Flexible schedule - available nights, holidays, and weekends with availability to open or close shifts


• Able to lift 50 lbs. and can stand for prolonged periods of time


• Legal US work authorization
