Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in West Virginia is seeking a Shift Lead to help run daily bakery operations, coach team members, and ensure every guest leaves with a joyful, memorable experience. You’ll manage opening/closing, baking, decorating, guest service, and order fulfillment while maintaining safety and quality.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support bakery team members during assigned shifts, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and create memorable experiences by bringing joy to every interaction.
• Support daily bakery operations, including baking, frosting, decorating, guest service, and order fulfillment as needed.
• Ensure all products meet Nothing Bundt Cakes quality, presentation, and freshness standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe bakery by following sanitation procedures and brand standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, cleaning, and securing the bakery.
• Help manage daily production, prioritize tasks, and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate operational needs, guest concerns, and team performance updates to the Bakery Manager.
• Coach and encourage team members, reinforcing expectations and promoting teamwork.
• Help monitor inventory, product rotation, labeling, dating, and waste to support operational efficiency.
• Lead by example and hold yourself and your team accountable for following bakery procedures.
• Demonstrate our HEART values in every interaction with guests and fellow team members.
