Job summary

Sud Stop Car Wash is seeking a Shift Lead to join our Raleigh, NC team. Lead and motivate a team of Customer Service Attendants, ensure safe operations, and drive service quality in a fast-paced, outdoor setting.

You’ll train staff, handle customer questions, and promote memberships, with weekend and holiday availability expected. Car wash experience is a plus, but training is provided. Compensation: $17.00-19.00 per hour + bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or service is preferred.
• Customer service and/or sales experience is required or a strong fit.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills are essential.
• Team‑first mindset with the ability to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Customer Service Attendants during your shift.
• Ensure excellent customer service and a safe, efficient operation.
• Train and coach team members to uphold Sud Stop standards.
• Handle customer questions, feedback, and service recovery when needed.
• Monitor daily operations, equipment, and cleanliness of the site.
• Promote memberships and services to meet sales goals.
• Work outdoors in all weather and on your feet.

What You’ll Do

Lead and motivate a team of Customer Service Attendants during your shift

What We’re Looking For

Previous leadership or supervisory experience (retail, hospitality, or service industry preferred)

Customer service and/or sales experience

Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Team‑first mindset with the ability to lead by example

Reliable transportation

Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working outside for prolonged periods of time

Weekend and holiday availability

Car wash experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person!

Compensation: $17.00-19.00 per hour + bonus opportunities
