• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door of the store for deliveries.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested at cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Holds store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Assists with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the backdoor for deliveries.
• Registers all sales accurately, including handling errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Supports review of order exceptions and reverse logistics.
• Assists in evaluating and developing displays and completes resets.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures proper pricing and signage.
• Supports bookkeeping activities and store maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with regulations regarding regulated products.
• Performs bag checks and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Completes assigned tasks and special projects.

Training & Personal Development

• Attends training and completes required PPLs.
• Obtains and maintains necessary certifications or licenses.

Communications

• Serves as a liaison between management and team members in the absence of management.
• Reports issues to management.

Basic Qualifications

• At least one year of leadership, supervisory, or key holder experience.
• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
