Job summary

Convive Brands is seeking a Shift Lead for our NYC Midtown East location. You will lead daily operations, ensure fast, friendly service, and uphold brand standards across dining and retail areas.

The role requires 3–6 months of restaurant experience, familiarity with Toast POS, and a flexible schedule. You will contribute to a collaborative team environment and support multiple brand concepts within Convive Brands.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, Toast is a plus.
• Schedule flexibility is highly preferred.
• Cross-training in all dining room & retail areas is a plus.
• Ability to speak/understand the primary language of the location.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout the visit.
• Receive and enter orders into the POS; coordinate with the kitchen as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, beverages, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when necessary.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Organize money and receipts per cash handling policy.
• Keep dining and retail areas clean and organized per checklists.
• Set up patio furniture and outdoor fixtures if applicable.
