Job summary

S&G Stores in Monroe, MI seeks a Shift Lead to support the Store Manager in daily store operations. You will help maximize sales and profits while ensuring compliance with policies, safety rules, and asset controls.

The role requires retail or customer service experience, physical stamina, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. You will supervise staff and maintain store appearance and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to perform routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Availability to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time, e.g. in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work various shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
