Relogistics Services is looking for a dedicated Shift Lead in Lugoff, SC, who will ensure team productivity and safety. You will work with the On-Site Manager to set shift schedules, recruit employees, and maintain supplies.

Job description

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co‑workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Hourly Pay

$18.00/hr.

A1: Saturday-Monday 6:00am - 6:00pm

What You'll Do

• Work with the On‑Site Manager as he/she to set shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
