Qualifications

  • 2+ years in industrial production (continuous process preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple constraints (kettle, equipment, material flow).
  • Strong judgment under pressure.
  • Hands-on mindset; willing to operate equipment.
  • Clear communicator in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own shift performance across safety, throughput, quality, and uptime.
  • Drive production flow from infeed → processing → kettle → outfeed.
  • Make real-time decisions to manage line speed, coating quality, kettle availability, and material flow.
  • Direct operators and coordinate crane/material movement to maintain continuous flow.
  • Identify and elevate bottlenecks, equipment issues, or process instability immediately.
  • Support startup, changeovers, and recovery from downtime events.
  • Train and develop operators; reinforce standards and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with GalvaBar coating specs and inspection requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with maintenance and management.

Your Education

High School Diploma, GED, Or Equivalent Experience Preferred
