Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick is seeking a Shift Lead in Fairview Park to support the general manager and assistant manager. You’ll lead the shift, deliver outstanding guest service, and help maintain a positive, energetic workplace.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will supervise staff, handle opening/closing tasks, and ensure exceptional hospitality across all guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant leadership or management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift: Serve as Manager on Duty and make decisions that keep the restaurant running smoothly.
• Lead the team: Assign positions, coach team members, provide training, and help create a positive work environment.
• Take care of guests: Deliver friendly, fast, and exceptional hospitality.
• Maintain standards: Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are met.
• Run daily operations: Support opening and closing, cash handling, stocking, catering orders, promotions, and shift procedures.
• Follow company standards: Ensure policies, procedures, labor laws, and safety requirements are followed.
• Support management: Assist the GM and AM with daily operations and administrative tasks.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous restaurant leadership or management experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, honest, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Able to complete required Shift Leader training

Physical Requirements

Able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the workday

• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Able to work in both the kitchen and service areas as needed
