Job summary

Dairy Queen in Elyria, OH is seeking a team-oriented Crew Member to assist fans with menu navigation and product questions, while delivering service that exceeds expectations. You will help maintain a positive, safe and clean environment and support restaurant operations during shifts.

The role involves collaborating with the GM and managers to train crew, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist fans with menu navigation
• Deliver service that would exceed fan expectations
• Be a willing team player and maintain a harmonious working relationship with fellow team members
• Prepare products following restaurant, health, and safety standards and procedures
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, clean and inviting environment for fans and team members
• Assist in the management of specific areas of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
• Pace the crew to high levels of performance by understanding the importance of speed of service and resolve bottlenecks in work flow
• Assist the GM and Managers with training and coaching crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team
• Ensure the restaurant is properly organized
• Calmly solve fan concerns and embrace Dairy Queen’s service recovery standards
• Models performance standards for all team members and work stations
• At all times exhibit a genuine passion for excellence
• Perform other duties assigned by management
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends and hoildays
