Job summary

Crumbl Cookies Franchises in Dayton, OH is hiring a Shift Lead to guide the crew, oversee daily operations, and ensure outstanding customer service.

You’ll help schedule shifts, coach teammates, handle cash, prepare desserts, and keep the bakery running smoothly in a fast-paced, upbeat environment. Open Monday–Saturday with Sundays off.

Ideal candidates are 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., with strong communication, leadership skills, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Open availability Monday–Saturday.
• Helps create a positive and supportive work culture.
• A positive attitude and great smile to uplift customers and teammates.
• Leads, mentors, and celebrates team members.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math and computer skills; comfortable with POS.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and help create shift schedules.
• Monitor team performance and ensure efficient workflows.
• Report issues during shifts to management.
• Coach and train new staff.
• Manage daily cash intake, opening/closing registers, and deposits.
• Handle customer concerns and employee disputes.
• Run the register and assist customers.
• Assist in dough prep, balling, and decorating cookies.
• Prepare catering orders and packaging.
• Answer phones and maintain store cleanliness.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Shift Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations and supporting the team while ensuring customers receive outstanding service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising employees and helping create shift schedules
• Monitoring team performance to ensure efficient workflows
• Reporting any issues during the shift to management
• Coaching team members and training new staff
• Managing daily cash intake, opening/closing registers and preparing deposits
• Handling customer concerns and employee disputes
• Running the register and assisting customers
• Mixing dough and preparing ingredients
• Balling and portioning dough
• Decorating cookies and desserts
• Preparing catering orders
• Folding boxes and packaging treats
• Answering phones
• Cleaning the store and washing dishes
• Supporting the team to keep the bakery running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Open availability Monday–Saturday
