Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking an ID1 High Volume Manufacturing Shift Equipment Engineer to monitor, maintain, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role involves supervising tool performance, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues using mechanical, electronic, and software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Knowledge of electrical, vacuum, gas flow, and mechanical fundamentals; experience with schematic diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, and MS Office.
• Flexibility to work and rotate shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervising tool performance, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues using mechanical, electronic, and software skills.
• Assisting with equipment installation, testing, process documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Driving equipment uptime, safety, and operational KPIs through root cause analysis, systematic problem solving, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with equipment owners and shift teams to resolve yield, defect, and output issues, applying SPC, DOE, and 8D methodologies.
• Updating procedures, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation.
