Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned shift, including emergency operations, training, and facility/equipment readiness.
• Lead emergency response coordination, fire prevention, emergency planning and public education programs.
• Collaborate with personnel and other departments to develop strategies reflecting community needs; may act on the Fire Chief's behalf.
• Participate in policy-level management and provide trusted support to the Fire Chief.
