Position Description:

This recruitment will be open on a continuous basis and will close when the Department's needs are met. Applicants are encouraged to apply immediately. The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, heating, and refrigeration systems, and may include work in correctional facilities with shift differentials.

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

• Minimum of four years of HVAC experience in industrial and commercial systems.
• Knowledge of and ability to install, maintain, and repair HVAC, heating, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and electronic control systems.
• Strong communication skills, safety consciousness, and possession of EPA Section 608 Universal Technician certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must not have felony convictions and must pass a background check including fingerprinting and possibly a polygraph.
