What You'll Do • Serve as a subject matter expert for Sheriff's Office software applications, third-party systems, databases, and technology solutions. • Maintain, update, and monitor large, mission-critical databases used to support operational and strategic decision-making. • Research, compile, analyze, and interpret data and information related to assigned program areas and departmental initiatives. • Develop, edit, and maintain reports, policies, procedures, orders, forms, and other documents for Sheriff's Office leadership. • Generate specialized reports and provide information to support immediate operational needs and long-term planning efforts. • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical assistance to staff utilizing various software applications and databases. • Collaborate with Sheriff's Office personnel, County departments, and external agencies to support information-sharing and operational needs. • May conduct background investigations for the Sheriff's Office and Fire Departments. • May work directly with police agencies, cities, villages, townships, and elected officials throughout Oakland County. • Utilize current Countywide and department-specific software applications to complete assignments.
