$52,685- $70,588 This position is onsite. Are you a technology-savvy professional who enjoys solving complex problems, managing critical information systems, and supporting public safety operations? Join the Oakland County Sheriff's Office and play a key role in maintaining mission-critical databases, supporting law enforcement operations, and providing technical expertise to staff throughout the organization. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced software applications, analyze and manage important information, and contribute to the efficient operation of one of the County's largest public safety departments.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Education Development (GED) Test. Have had four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience assisting professional level staff in the compilation and preparation of divisional reports or performing data input and maintenance; at least one (1) year of which included the use of specialized departmental software applications. NOTE: Course work at an accredited college, university, business, or commercial school in a related area may be substituted for up to three (3) years of the experience on a year-for-year basis.

A background investigation will be conducted covering an evaluation of employment, school, home, credit, criminal, military, or other personal records. Any conviction or convictions for moving traffic violations, accidents, non-moving traffic violations, or violations of other laws will be reviewed by the Sheriff's Office before an applicant can be appointed. Information obtained during the background investigation will be considered in the hiring decision. Convictions of the Domestic Violence Statute will be a disqualifying factor.
