Nottingham City Council is seeking a SHEQ Lead to provide professional leadership and assurance across Waste & Cleansing Services, helping to ensure services are safe, compliant and continuously improving. As the SHEQ Lead - Waste & Cleansing Services, you will provide senior professional leadership and assurance on health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across Waste & Cleansing operations. Working under the strategic direction of the Divisional SHEQ Manager, you will act as a delegated lead for operational compliance and service assurance, ensuring statutory requirements, management system standards and safe systems of work are embedded throughout service delivery. You will work closely with operational leaders and frontline teams, providing evidence-based advice, professional challenge and assurance activity to drive continuous improvement and support effective risk management.,
You will hold a relevant qualification, or be able to demonstrate substantial equivalent experience in Health & Safety, SHEQ, training or competence management.
