Job summary

Renlo Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive SHEQ Advisor to join a small, friendly consultancy. This home-based role lets you manage your own diary and clients, with mentoring from directors and occasional site visits.

You will develop expertise across health & safety, environment and quality, delivering practical, compliant solutions for your client portfolio and expanding your auditing and training capabilities over time.

Qualifications

• Construction background with knowledge of H&S legislation incl. CDM/HSWA.
• NEBOSH certification is required or essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections (health and safety focus)
• Write clear, balanced reports
• Manage own portfolio of clients (6–12)
• Conduct annual reviews and retention visits
• Manage SSIP updates and policy/procedure updates
• Produce gap analyses and surveys
• Take on ISO work and audits over time
• Deliver training such as CDM and toolbox talks

Job description

I have a great opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join a small, friendly consultancy. You’ll work from home, manage your own diary and clients, plus receive mentoring from the directors.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out site inspections covering health and safety (mainly), environmental and quality
• Writing clear, balanced reports and managing your work in Monday.com
• Managing your own portfolio of clients, around six to twelve to start
• Carrying out annual reviews and retention visits
• Managing SSIP updates and updating policies and procedures
• Producing gap analyses and surveys
• Taking on ISO work and auditing over time, with training provided
• The opportunity to deliver training such as CDM and toolbox talks
