Job summary

The Salvation Army Odessa Lodge in Odessa, TX is seeking a part-time Security/Housing Assistant. This 29-hour-per-week role offers pay around $12.70 per hour and includes duties in building security, client intake, and housekeeping at the Odessa Lodge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-year prior experience in security or social services preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Building security responsibilities (60%): enforce house rules, inspect belongings, secure facility, respond to emergencies.
• Intake and discharge responsibilities (20%): handle intake procedures, update client files, manage rosters, distribute items.
• Housekeeping and chore distribution responsibilities (20%): assign daily chores, assist with cleaning and maintenance, ensure asset accountability.
