The position is 100% dedicated to the project, requiring 35 hours per week with on-call duties 24/7. The Director will lead operations and security teams, supervise vendors, manage facility systems, and maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and staff,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in facilities management, public administration, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, security, and facilities management for shelter site.
• Supervise staff and vendors; ensure contractual obligations and program goals.
• Develop and implement operational goals and emergency protocols.
• Coordinate with DHS, FDNY, DOHMH, OSHA for compliance.
• Prepare reports, audits, and proposals with senior management.
• Ensure licenses and permits renewal; respond to inspections.
• Coordinate fire drills and emergency response readiness.
• Maintain logs, inventories, and work orders.
