Job summary

Institute for Human Services in Hawaii seeks a leader to coordinate services for guests and manage staff delivering care at IHS sites. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service in line with the organization’s Vision, Mission and Values.
• Lead, mentor, support, and coach staff providing care for guests; collaborate with Workforce Excellence/HR on performance management.
• Develop, review and administer IHS policies and procedures; ensure shelter referrals and program outcomes meet guidelines.
• Collaborate with program staff and external providers to meet guest/client needs; monitor housing and care plans.
• Monitor expenses to stay within budget; approve payroll; manage supply orders and equipment usage.
• Ensure data integrity of all intakes/exits and program documentation in HMIS/SAMi; document incident reports and emergencies.
• Maintain emergency procedures and serve as point of contact for emergencies at sites.
• Maintain safe, clean environments and use CPI to diffuse conflicts; report hazards to Maintenance.
• Liaise with neighboring businesses to ensure guest/community safety; ensure meetings with guests and staff occur.
