Job summary

The Salvation Army in Lynchburg, VA is hiring a Housing Monitor for PMC-Lynchburg Corps. Working Friday through Sunday nights, 12:00 am to 8:00 am, you will help ensure the safety and well-being of shelter residents by conducting hotline calls, safety assessments, and completing intake paperwork.

Responsibilities include maintaining shelter records, assisting with meals and cleaning, and supporting the Lead Housing Monitor to keep operations smooth and in line with the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• One year vocational/technical school degree and six months experience or equivalent.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
