Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of veterinary experience with an animal shelter or similar organization is required for Intake Coordinator and Vet Assistant positions.
• Previous customer service experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage safe and efficient intake of animals and provide veterinary and foster care support.
• Administer intake vaccines and preventative treatments and conduct preliminary health assessments.
• Coordinate medical appointments and communicate for foster animals; assist veterinarians and technicians as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, adopters, and volunteers and support adoption processes.
