Job summary

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is seeking an Emergency Shelter Coordinator for swing shift in Las Vegas. The role supports case management, coordinates shelter intake, and liaises with partner agencies to ensure smooth service delivery.

You will maintain client files, assist with referrals, and help build a coordinated system of care for homeless individuals, with emphasis on dignity, safety, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of customer service or social service experience is desirable.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Windows is required.
• Bi-lingual is a plus; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must pass criminal, drug, and employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Emergency Shelter intake and enrollment with case managers.
• Enter daily client data and maintain program records.
• Assist clients by linking services and expediting access.
• Facilitate employment programs, job readiness, and financial education.
• Maintain safe, clean shelter environment and monitor safety.
• Coordinate with partners to build a cohesive system of care.
