Job summary

Project Renewal is seeking a Residential Aide for Atlas House Men's Shelter in Brooklyn. The role supports residents, enforces shelter rules, and assists with intake, documentation, and daily census reporting.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, and offers on-site duties with potential overtime. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, and familiarity with DHS CARES is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or in recovery with sobriety proof.
• Fire Guard certification F-02 or Fire Safety Coordinator F-80 preferred.
• Familiarity with substance abuse services environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of a 1 bed shelter for men with substance abuse problems.
• Process new client intake information, bed assignment, and maintain daily census records.
• Provide clothing and personal care items to clients as needed.
