Job summary

Wake County Animal Center in Raleigh, NC is hiring two Animal Welfare Attendant Supervisors to direct and supervise the AWA team and ensure WCAC standards are met. You will lead animal husbandry, adoption counseling, and customer service while managing workflow, goals, and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in animal care or control.
• Two years of related animal care experience; previous animal shelter experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in animal husbandry, veterinary care, or a similar program.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direction and supervision of the AWA team.
• Develop workflow and oversee tasks for direct reports.
• Ensure humane care and handling of shelter animals.
