Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months heavy customer relations experience.
• Experience with animals and knowledge of their behavior preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides food, water, and general care of Shelter animals.
• Cleans, disinfects, and removes waste and dead animals from the Shelter.
• Performs humane euthanasia as prescribed by law.
• Maintains kennel records as directed by procedures manual.
• Reports inventory levels of kennel supplies.
• Maintains quarantine rooms as prescribed by law and local manuals.
• Maintains kennel pesticide control by methods approved by Manager.
• Operates two-way communications systems and performs adoptions clerical work.
