The City of Laredo is seeking an Animal Care Supervisor to lead daily shelter operations, oversee animal care staff, coordinate medical care with veterinarians, and ensure humane treatment and sanitation.

You will work with volunteers, rescues, and the public to promote adoptions, manage enrichment programs, supervise trainings, and maintain accurate medical documentation while driving a City vehicle as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 2 years of animal care experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising shelter staff and coordinating veterinary services is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and program development skills are essential.
