Job summary

Doncasters Precision Castings of Groton seeks a Shell Room Lead for the 2nd shift to oversee daily shell room operations, drive safety, quality and production goals. You will mentor operators, coordinate workflow and support continuous improvement in processes and equipment.

Based in Groton, CT, this role offers hands-on leadership on a dynamic shop floor with opportunities for development and teamwork within a global specialty metals group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing team.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees and cross‑train team members.
• Lead and coordinate a team of shell room operators to meet production demands.
• Provide hands on support for daily operations including shell building, drying and inspection.
