Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment and that the team is working safely.
• Set the example for safety, attendance, productivity, attitude, etc.
• Assign tasks to meet daily production targets.
• Ensure team members have required PPE, parts, tools, etc., to perform assigned tasks.
• Provide on-the-spot verbal coaching or correction and document as required.
• Keep supervisor informed of individual performance trends.
• Ensure production standards are met.
• Read and comprehend a job order, bill of materials, blueprint, text, or schematic drawings.
• Assist with lean initiatives on the floor and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Read rulers, tape measurers, metal squares, and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
