Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks skilled Press Brake Operators to join our North Kingstown-based manufacturing team. You will set up and operate press brake machinery, interpret blueprints, select tooling, and ensure parts meet specifications.

Candidates should read blueprints, perform precise measurements, and maintain safety and quality standards while supporting team goals and production timelines. Relevant experience and own basic hand tools are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or 2 years related technical experience.
  • Proven experience operating press brakes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work all shifts including alternate weeks (4/10s – 3/12s).
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and tooling.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Good math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.
Required
