Job summary

A leading mechanical contracting firm is looking for a Sheetmetal Foreman in Clemmons, NC, to oversee installations on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sheet metal work, strong leadership skills, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. This position also requires collaboration with team members to ensure project quality and safety standards are met. Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial sheet metal experience.
• 3+ years of leading construction teams.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Experience with mechanical, refrigeration, steam, and condensate systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn.
• Previous use of electrical and manual tools required.
• Experience operating safety equipment and using safe construction work practices.
• Experience leading and working in a team environment with high safety and quality standards.
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the jobsite to ensure a safe work environment and report any safety violations to the safety supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Position

Bahnson Mechanical Systems is seeking a Sheetmetal Foreman who will have extensive commercial experience to lead our team on various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in sheet metal work, be proficient in reading blueprints, and have the leadership skills necessary to guide the team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate installations on commercial job sites, ensuring projects meet company quality and safety standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to guide installation procedures
• Utilize 2-D and 3-D modeling software to review and understand models/BIM drawings
• Collaborate closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure timelines and budget goals are met
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure installations meet industry and company standards
• Compile lists of material and equipment needed; maintain assigned tools and issue safety equipment for the job site
• Lead, supervise, train, and support crew members on projects while maintaining high productivity and morale
• Monitor the jobsite to ensure a safe work environment and report any safety violations to the safety supervisor
