Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, production, and sales, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring accurate quotations while maintaining industry knowledge and professional communication with customers.

Formación

• Proven experience in sheetmetal estimating
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency with cost estimation software and strong numerical skills
• Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented
• Strong problem-solving abilities and independent work style

Responsabilidades

• Review engineering drawings and specifications to assess project requirements.
• Estimate material, labor, tooling, and overhead costs for projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Source and evaluate materials, suppliers, and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations to clients.
• Analyze past projects to refine and improve cost estimation processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of machine technologies and industry trends.
• Assist in project planning to ensure feasibility and profitability.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding project scope, pricing, and lead times.
