Job summary

Quad in Franklin, WI is seeking a dependable 2nd press operator for evening shift operations. You will safely maintain Heidelberg presses, check ink/paper levels, and assist with registration and sheet ruling while upholding quality standards.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of press experience, color awareness, and strong mechanical aptitude. The role requires lifting, standing for long hours, OT as needed, and passing a color test.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of second press operator experience.
• Experience with Heidelberg 105 or 106 with coater preferred; other makes considered.
• Some perfecting experience and color understanding required.
• Good mechanical aptitude and strong eye–hand coordination.
• Ability to use a computer to ensure product quality.
• Physical ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously and up to 70 pounds occasionally.

Available Shift

Monday – Friday: 9 PM – 5 AM with $3.00 shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain the press.

• Physical ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously, 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects.
• Ability to work 8‑hour shifts, including overtime and holidays as required (OT paid over 40 hours per week).
• Must pass a color test.
• Effective communication with clients at Press OKs.
