Job summary

Herzog Roofing in Fargo, North Dakota is seeking a skilled metal sheet worker to measure, mark, drill, and install metal sheets and related frameworks at job sites. You will coordinate with project managers and building owners to ensure precise fit and secure installation, while maintaining inventory at the warehouse and on-site.

The position requires lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally and overhead lifting of 11–20 lbs frequently, work in varying weather, and willingness to overtime and travel,

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets.
• Drill, holes in metal for screws, bolts and rivets.
• Maneuver large sheet metal parts to be installed.
• Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks.
• Must be able to communicate with project managers and building owners.
• Protect and maintain inventory at warehouse and jobsites.
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment and facilities.
• Employees are very active and must be able to bend, crawl, twist, squat, reach overhead and work at heights.
• Must be able to lift/carry at least 40lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to lift overhead 11-20lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to endure all weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Work at heights, in varying weather conditions, with overtime and overnight travel as required
