Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman for a project at Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, GA. The role oversees sheet metal crews, ensures safety, and manages schedule and budget to deliver quality work on time.

Candidates should have 2+ years as a foreman in sheet metal, with construction field experience and ability to read plans; CPR/First Aid and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Minimum two years as Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects.
• Minimum three years of field or trade experience in construction; gov/military/large commercial preferred.
• Design-build experience desirable; sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Office/Outlook; Primavera, Oracle, BIM, Revit/Autodesk training available.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training available).

We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market.

We are looking for a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman candidate to join our Field Operations team at Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, Georgia.

The Sheet Metal Trade Foreman is responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. PAY: $40.00-50.00 per hour, DOE

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects.
• Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction; government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred.
• Design-build experience is desirable.
• Experience fabricating sheet metal in various shapes for industrial and/or commercial-scale projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required; training available for Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training available).
