Job summary

RQ Construction LLC seeks a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman for Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, GA. You will supervise sheet metal crews, ensure safety, quality, and timely progress on a DoD project, and coordinate with project teams to meet targets and budgets.

We value leadership, planning, and problem solving, with training available for Primavera/Oracle/BIM/Revit, and certifications such as OSHA 30 and EM-385.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects.
• Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction; government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred.
• Design-build experience is desirable.
• Experience fabricating sheet metal in various shapes for industrial and/or commercial-scale projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required; training available for Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training available).

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate assigned construction crews at the jobsite.
• Safely produce quality work in line with project requirements, budget, and schedule.

We now have a national presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market.

We are looking for a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman candidate to join our Field Operations team at Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, Georgia.

The Sheet Metal Trade Foreman is responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. PAY: $40.00-50.00 per hour, DOE
