Job summary

RQ Construction LLC is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Installers for ongoing projects at Kings Bay Naval Base, GA, and surrounding areas. Work is performed on a military installation and compensated per the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base.

Installers fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active sites, applying mechanical knowledge and following safety procedures. 4+ years of field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is the minimal education required.
• 4+ years field or trade experience; journeylevel sheet metal work in commercial or facilities ops.
• Government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites.
• Apply mechanical knowledge, interpret project requirements, and use appropriate tools to complete installations.
• Ensure work meets codes and safety procedures while supporting RQ Construction LLC's Mission, Vision and Values.

RQ Construction is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Installers to join our Mechanical team for ongoing projects at Kings Bay Naval Base, GA and the surrounding area. All work is performed on a military installation and is compensated in accordance with the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base.

Sheet Metal Installers fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites. The role requires applying mechanical knowledge, interpreting project requirements, and using appropriate tools and equipment to complete quality installations. All work must meet applicable codes and standards while following established safety procedures and supporting RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $18.62 - 44.00 per hour DOE
• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid Time Off: 1 week vacation plus accrued sick time

Requirements for this position include:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position
• 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade experience. Journey-level sheet metal work in a commercial or facilities operations environment is required; government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred
