Job summary

Mission Critical Group is seeking a Metal Shop Technician - Press Brake Operator to operate CNC punch and break presses on the production floor. You will read blueprints, load materials, select tooling, and verify part tolerances using calipers.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly compensation of $24–$30.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and math skills for parts fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Punch Press or Break Press to cut holes and bend materials per job specifications.
• Retrieve punch list, parts list, and CNC programs to create parts.
• Load materials, secure them on the machine, and adjust tooling as needed.
• Measure finished parts with calipers to ensure compliance with tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; participate in training with CNC Foremen.
